In the conference, we talked about a few things to improve in my essay. The main detail we talked about and focused during the meeting was about citation and bibliography. There were a few sentences in which I used a specific word that is not common in the U.S and was used in one of my researches, so Mr. Wenzel recommended me to cite it was if I got it from the research. We also agreed that I would visit the Reading-Writing Center and Digital Studio to check the citations before Wednesday, which is the due date. Thus, I’ll be going on Tuesday after spring break to check that and many other details before I submit to make sure everything is perfect. Moreover, we talked about how to add details about my experience in the meeting in WILD more than information from the researches I did. Before the conference, my draft was full of connections to researches but it lacked descriptions of the community, meetings and genre I should focus on.
